Reacting to the reports of Shraddha Kapoor getting married to her rumour boyfriend Rohan Shrestha next year in 2020, Shakti Kapoor has made a statement. He made a quirky reaction by saying an invite should be sent to him too as he is the father of the bride.
He actually said, “Really? My daughter is getting married? Please don’t forget to invite me too, to the wedding! Let me know where the wedding is, I will be there. I am the father and yet I have no clue. So, please let me know.”
Talking about his daughter’s marriage plans, Shakti Kapoor said that every father wants his daughter to get married in a good and respected family. He also wishes that Shraddha grows better in his personal and professional life. But he being a modern age father believes that children should get their freedom to choose their life partners on their own as gone are the days when parents decided it for their children.
On Thursday, a Mumbai Mirror report claimed Shraddha and Rohan had decided to get married in 2020, adding that the actor’s mother is “already putting together ideas for the wedding”. As per the news, Shraddha is dating Rohan Shrestha for two years now. Rohan’s father Rakesh Shreshtha was a famous Bollywood photographer and Rohan is also following his footprints. 33 years old Rohan and 31 years old Shraddha are childhood friends and grew up together in Mumbai’s Juhu. Shraddha’s father Shakti also likes Rohan and wants that the two will tie the knot soon.
Before Rohan, Shraddha was rumoured to have relationships with Aditya Roy Kapur and Farhan Akhtar. On the professional front, Shraddha will be seen next in Saaho opposite Prabhas, Street Dancer 3D opposite Varun Dhawan and Baaghi 3 opposite Tiger Shroff.
