Actor Shraddha Kapoor is making headlines for quitting Olympian badminton star Saina Nehwal’s biopic. She was associated with the film project since September. Shraddha had shared a picture of herself as Saina in September, confirming that she would play the ace badminton player in her biopic. She even visited Saina’s family home and had lunch with her parents.
The reason behind quitting the film by Shraddha Kapoor is her tight schedule. She wasn’t able to take time out for the shoot of Saina’s biopic. She is currently working on Chhichhore with Sushant Singh Rajput. She was also shooting for Street Dancer 3D with Varun Dhawan in London. Her film with Prabhas, Saaho will release in August and she will also shoot Baaghi 3 with Tiger Shroff in a few months.
The owner of T-series made a statement in which he revealed that Shraddha has left the film and it is Parineeti who will now replace her in the biopic.
Parineeti is ecstatic to be part of the film and revealed that she always wanted to do a film based on sports. She said Saina ade whole country proud with her achievements and this film is a tribute to her.
