Shraddha Kapoor will play the female lead in the next Chandu Champion movie starring Kartik Aaryan, according to a Bollywood Hungama report.
Shraddha has signed the film, according to a person with direct knowledge of the situation. A source of Bollywood Hungama has said, Earlier, a source had told us, “Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan are scouting for a leading lady, and they are keen on Shraddha Kapoor playing the role. The actress is excited about the project too. As of now, she is the lead in the race. Currently, Sajid and Shraddha are in talks and working out the modalities.”
It’s interesting to note that this upcoming movie marks Kartik and Shraddha’s debut together on camera. Kartik appeared in a cameo in Luv Ranjan’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, which the two just co-starred in. In addition to Chandu Champion, Shraddha is working on a number of other projects, including Stree 2.
Returning to Chandu Champion, the movie is scheduled to hit theatres on June 14, 2024. A sports biopic about Murlikant Petkar will be produced. Murlikant Petkar has accomplished important milestones for the untrained, including earning a gold medal at the 1970 Commonwealth Games and the 1972 Paralympics in Germany. In 2016, Sushant Singh Rajput became interested in the untitled movie after being moved to tears by the storytelling.
