Mitchell Starc was witnessed to finish his first over in the first T20I against the hosts – Sri Lanka.
Starc gave just seven runs and somehow completed his over but more significantly he has hurt himself as a deep cut through the nail of his bowling hand’s finger was witnessed.
Starc has put up a band-aid which might restrict him to bowl and more importantly turn the ball via cutter as it might be visible to the batsman what Starc is targeting for, and if not Starc’s speed will be lower than he could have bowled at 100% potential.
