Famous singer Sonu Nigam is stuck in Dubai during Lockdown. And some users have also demanded his arrest because of an old post.
Sonu Nigam is stuck in Dubai for the last few days due to the coronavirus lockdown. But on Tuesday, Sonu suddenly started trending on Twitter and the demand for his arrest started coming up. The reason behind it is an old tweet in which Sonu has expressed objection to installing loudspeakers at religious places.
After the news spread that he is in Dubai some users on Twitter are demanding Sonu’s arrest from Dubai authorities by posting tweets about 3 years old. However, some are also making fun of Sonu saying: how he will be tolerating Azan’s voice. Sonu announced to be stranded in Dubai only a few days ago and is also doing online concerts from there.
According to information gathered in 2017, Sonu Nigam raised the issue of installing loudspeakers at religious places through tweets. Sonu argued that there was no electricity at the time when religions started. So what is the use of installing these loudspeakers? Also, Sonu named it as Gundagardi.
