Soul of Varisu is the third song from the album of Varisu starring superstar Vijay Thalapathy. The song is a ballad sung by the legendary Chitra. The song mildly coons the relationship shared between a mother and her son who whom she sees after years. The music is composed by S Thaman and penned by Vivek.
The lyrics translates to, “I can hear aaraario (lullaby) again. Is it true that my truth has come back? All my wounds are beginning to heal. Even the heartbeats are turning into a melody. In the smell of my son, desires are becoming festoons. The heart is dancing on the happy swing.”
