Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, an animated picture by Sony Pictures, has surpassed the 50 crore threshold in India. New Spider-Man movie shoes have been stated that extending its run in India into the fourth week as Adipurush falls short of expectations.
On Thursday, June 3, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse made a $4 crore debut in India. Since then, it has consistently held a good position at the domestic box office alongside the Bollywood movie Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, directed by Laxman Utekar and starring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan.

However, both the films were likely to slow down last week. After enjoying a fortnight of steady run at the Indian box office, the two films were expected to give in to Adipurush, Om Raut’s epic adventure film, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan, that released in over 4,000 screens in five languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
This allowed Sony Pictures to continue Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’s run at the Indian box office into its fourth week while also enabling Zara Hatke Zara Bachke to resume its box office trajectory on Wednesday.
The longer Eid weekend, which begins on June 29, will see the entry of new participants into the market the following week. These films include Harrison Ford’s action adventure Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and the romance comedy Satyaprem Ki Katha starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon.
On March 29, 2024, the next installment to the Oscar-winning animated feature Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and the prelude to Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse will hit theatres.
