The first official images from actress Sreejita De’s marriage ceremony in Germany have been released. She used Instagram to post exquisite images from her white wedding to boyfriend Michael Blohm-Pape, which was conducted in a gorgeous chapel.
Posting the photos Sreejita penned down, “Today we celebrate the beginning of forever, hand in hand.” She and Michael were seen in the first picture gazing at the church altar. He is wearing a black suit, and she is wearing a spotless white gown. Their faces may be seen more clearly in the second picture. Sreejita is sporting a diamond necklace and minimal makeup. After the ceremony, they can be seen kissing in the third photo.
People from the industry congratulated her for her life update. Sreejita’s Bigg Boss co-contestant Shiv Thakare said, “Congratulations.” Archana Gautam commented, “Congratulations yara.” Actor Narayani Shastri wrote, “Congratulations my love.” A fan also wrote, “Sooooo pretty congratulations to both of you.”
In conversation with the Hindustan Times, Sreejita had mentioned, “My idea was always to have an intimate, close-knit wedding. The wedding in Hamburg will be held on July 1 whereas in October end, we will organise the rituals in India, and of course, with a long list of ceremonies. My sasural people are way too excited for the Indian wedding function as they want to be part of all the rituals including haldi, mehendi. I am tired of explaining the purpose of all the ceremonies.”
Sreejita participated in Bigg Boss 16 and even had a visit from Michael while she was a contestant. When discussing her time on Bigg Boss, she told HT, “There is no script, and you are left to live with people you might know a bit or don’t know at all. But it was fun, I enjoyed it because I always find my tribe. And I don’t carry the baggage of negativity. If I get to work with people with whom I don’t gel at some point, I will still manage without slightest of apprehension.”
