Rise, revolt and roar will supposedly have its sequel as proclaimed by ace director – SS Rajamouli. The sequel is in the processing. The film stars Jr NTR and Ram Charan.
The filmmaker is also expecting big from the nomination the coveted Oscars. The screenwriter’s father Vijayendra Prasad will be working on the sequel.
In a screening conducted in Chicago, the director revealed “I would absolutely love to. I can’t reveal many details about it but my father, who has been a screenwriter for all my films including RRR…We discussed a bit about it, and he is working on the story.”
Earlier, actor Jr NTR had mentioned that the demand of fans to come up with the sequel to RRR is very fair and justified.
“I’m pretty sure that if he doesn’t make (a sequel), you’re going to kill him for sure. He needs to make ‘RRR 2’, there needs to be a conclusion to this also! I was speaking to a journalist, and I don’t know how but I said ‘RRR’ franchise. So, hopefully it becomes true. He should make RRR 2,” the actor averred.
RRR is an time-based drama which revolves around the life of two freedom fighters from the first half of the 20th century. The protagonists Alluri Sitarama is played by Charan and Komaram Bheem is played by Jr NTR.
