Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide by hanging himself on June 14 at his home in Bandra, Mumbai. A few days before the actor’s death, Sushant’s ex-manager Disha Salian also committed suicide by jumping from a 14-story building. However, after the death of Sushant and Disha, people started taking different angles. Many even said that the death of the two is not suicide but murder. Meanwhile, Mumbai police have arrested Vibhor Anand, a lawyer from Delhi, for spreading false rumors.

The CBI is currently investigating the cases of Sushant and Disha’s death, it has been reported that Mumbai Police has arrested a Delhi lawyer named Vibhor Anand for spreading fake news about Sushant and Disha’s death. According to a report published in NDTV, Vibhor had made several sensational and defamation allegations in the case. He had claimed that Disha had been raped before her death and even several celebrities were named in the case. His Twitter account has been suspended for violating social media platform guidelines. So far, Vibhor has been brought to Mumbai after being booked under sections of the law, including the Information Technology Act.

It has been reported that Vibhor not only spread false rumors in death cases but also made attempts to discredit the Maharashtra government. Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh told NDTV, “A fake story started in the media that Mumbai Police did not do its job properly. We faced a lot of abuse. We were always sure of our investigation.”
