Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel of Bollywood are preparing for the premiere of their forthcoming flick Gadar 2: The Katha Continues. Tara Singh and Sakeena will reprise their roles in the film, which will be released in theatres on August 11. Sunny and Ameesha are busy promoting the film ahead of its release, and they recently visited the Attari-Wagah border in Amritsar.
Ameesha wore a blue outfit similar to her character in the film, meanwhile Sunny sported a yellow kurta with an olive green turban.
Sunny posted photos from their visit to his Instagram account. In the caption, he wrote, “Was honoured to witness the Retreat ceremony at the Attari Border with the illustrious @bsf_punjab_frontier @bsf_india. Loved the energy & the fervour with which the atmosphere was filled with emphatic chants of #hindustanzindabad. Thank you all. Jai Hind.”
Ameesha posted numerous photos on her social media pages. As stated in one of her captions, “GADAR 2 TEAM AT INDO – PAK WAGAH BORDER for PROMOTIONS.”
Sunny and Ameesha also performed a Bhangra following the Beating Retreat Ceremony, with Udit Narayan singing “Main Nikla Gaddi Leke” and “Udd Jaa Kaale.”
Sunny has previously visited Amritsar’s Golden Temple to seek blessings. The film, directed by Anil Sharma, also features Utkarsh Sharma in the prominent role.
