Actress Sunny Leone has come a long way. But still, some consider it a risk working with the actress. Here’s what she revealed in an interview.
It’s almost a decade now since actor Sunny Leone began her journey in Bollywood. She was known as a porn star, but after entering Bollyoowd a new chapter opened in her life, however, her past life comes back to haunt her. But hats off to Sunny who says that she has learned to ignore these hiccups. Leone started her career in Bollywood with Pooja Bhatt’s film ‘Jism 2’, and later on, she had a huge fan following on social media. Also, she got famous across the country.
Leone, who comes from Canada, her real name is Karenjit Kaur Vohra. She took the reality TV route of Bigg Boss to come into the limelight in India. Ever since that she has appeared in projects such as Ek Paheli Leela, Raees, Karenjit Kaur – The Untold Story of Sunny Leone, Kuch Kuch Locha Hai, and Ragini MMS Returns. The latest project that she signed is with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap.
Recently in an interview with a news portal, Sunny revealed that she, started working as a porn star but today she is a completely different person, from the time she entered the film industry in 2012. She also opened up that as a porn star many people wanted to work with her, but not everyone was interested and were still unwilling to work with her. But the actress didn’t bother at all. In a statement, she said “When I entered the industry, yes, a lot of people were reluctant to work with me. But there were lots of people who wanted to work with me… In that way, some of the more famous production houses and people are still probably reluctant to work with me,”
The actress was in Canada a while ago for an event celebrating South Asian arts. And for those unaware, it is the same country where she was mocked. And later at one point, she made her own life choices.
