Rhea Chakraborty filed a petition to transfer investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case to Mumbai Police. After that actor’s family filed a caveat in Supreme Court.
It came to light that on Tuesday Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh had filed an FIR at the Rajiv Nagar police station in Patna accusing six people, including his girlfriend Rhea, for abetment to suicide. Now after his family took this action. Rhea Chakraborty filed a petition to transfer investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case to Mumbai Police. According to the latest updates family has now filed a caveat in Supreme Court to not allow the actress’s petition to be heard in the court.
Talking to PTI, lawyer Vikas Singh said that Rhea is seeking stay and transfer of investigation to Mumbai. That means somebody in Mumbai Police is helping her and that’s why she wants to transfer the case. He further said that what more proof is needed now.
Rhea’s statement on this matter
According to Rhea, the case related to Sushant is already going on in Mumbai, and the investigations are still going on. She said that it is illegal to file a case in Bihar regarding the same case relating to the same incident. She pleaded that one case should not be investigated in two different states.
Talking further let us tell you that Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde had informed on Wednesday that they had filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court, seeking a transfer of the investigation to Mumbai. They claimed that the investigation by Mumbai Police was still pending.
