Sushmita Sen has never held back while discussing her experiences dating. The actor recently discussed her brief romance with businessman Lalit Modi in an interview with Mid-Day. She acknowledged that it was “just another phase,” but she found it funny how people reacted to their photos.
Sushmita noted that although she never disclosed her relationship status with Lalit Modi, she only ever clarified on social media once that she is single. “I just put out one post on Instagram because sometimes I think when people keep quiet, their silence is mistaken for weakness or fear. I just needed to put out one post to let them know I am laughing. After that, I was done with it.”

Last year, Lalit Modi hinted to his marriage to the a by posting personal photos of the two on X, the old Twitter. Sushmita clarified on Instagram that she doesn’t yet have a ring on her finger, nevertheless, following a great deal of controversy.
