Tamil actress Vijayalakshmi allegedly tried to commit suicide due to depression on Sunday. The actress was rushed to a hospital in Chennai.
Numerous cases related to suicide are being reported in the entertainment industry. Meanwhile, the news is coming that Tamil actress Vijayalakshmi also allegedly tried to commit suicide. The actress was rushed to a hospital in Chennai. And is currently under treatment. The actress is known for films like Friends and Boss Engira Baskaran. She recently made headlines for speaking against the torture she was allegedly facing from the actor-turned-politician and his party. Later after getting fed up from harassment and bullying by followers of Naam Thamizhar party leader Seeman and Panankattu Padai’s Hari Nadar. She tried to commit suicide.
Before committing suicide, she uploaded a video on Sunday evening. In which she wrote“This is my last video and I have been in tremendous stress in the last four months because of Seeman and his political party group. I tried my level best to survive all these days because of my mother and sister, but I have been humiliated in the media by Harinadar recently.” Soon after she posted the video on Facebook her sister Usha rushed to her residence and admitted Vijayalakshmi to a private hospital in Adyar. She took the help of actor Gayathri Raghuram for this.
Let us tell you that according to the reports actress Gayathri Raghuram taking to the twitter handle stated that she is perhaps now in a better condition. The actress was on the verge of depression and hence ate pills to kill herself.
What’s the whole matter
Actually Vijayalakshmi was in a relationship with Seeman for two years. Seeman was an actor, who has now joined a political party. He earlier said he will marry Vijayalaksmi, but soon after he joined the party. He stepped back of the promise he gave to the actress. After this Seeman and his party had been harassing her for the past couple of years. The actress and her sister lodged a complaint against Seeman but were forced to withdraw that complaint following death threats. But finally, The Adyar Magistrate has recorded Vijayalakshmi’s statement. A complaint has been lodged on behalf of Vijayalakshmi against Seeman at the Adyar police station.
