Thanks to her ten-minute version of the song “All Too Well, being Taylor Swift‘s eighth song to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100, a spot that was taken by some of her most successful singles such as “Shake It Off.”, “Cardigan” or “Blank Space”.

The extended edition of “All Too Well” also ranks as the 30th song of Swift’s releases to reach the Top 10 in popularity, a feat only six artists in the US music industry have managed to achieve to date.

Billboard notes that the ten-minute edition and the regular five-minute version are considered a single entity, combining a total of 54.4 million views in the United States alone during the week of November 12-18. , including the acoustic version.

Only the recording that Swift released to the public in 2012 would count as a different entity. The record for the longest song as number one on Billboard was previously held by singer-songwriter Don McLean, who conducted the song for four weeks in 1972, with “American Pie (Parts I & II)) ”, Lasting eight minutes.

“Red (Taylor’s Version)” is the second of six albums that Taylor Swift will present with re-recorded versions following the unauthorized sale of his material by his former label. Last week, the singer featured a video for the song “I Bet You Think About Me,” which represents actress Blake Lively’s directorial debut.
