In a surprising news coming from Indian political world, the son of former Bihar’s CM Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav is taking divorce. It is worth considering that he got married earlier this year on May 12. He hasn’t completed even 6 months of his marriage and files for divorce in Patna court with wife Aishwarya Rai.
He had married Aishwarya Rai, daughter of an RJD MLA. Explaining the decision, his lawyer Yashwant Kumar Sharma told ANI:
“They couldn’t get along. An application under the Hindu Marriage Act was filed through me on behalf of Tej Pratap Yadav. I can’t say anything else at this moment.”
Their wedding was a high profile one attended by several politicians including Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, governor Satya Pal Malik, Shatrughan Sinha and Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan. The ceremony saw a huge turnout of RJD workers, who had come to meet party chief Lalu Yadav. Several RJD workers and supporters present barged into the venue and vandalised food stalls. They also stole the cutlery including plates, spoons, and glasses along with cold drinks and ice creams. As a result, Tejashwi Yadav had to issue a public apology.
Tej Pratap, was the health minister in the grand alliance government, is an MLA from Mahua in Vaishali district.
