Actor Maanvi Gagroo spills the beans about her role in Four More Shots Please! She said that by playing a funky girl who knows how to call a spade a spade she has now been considered for brighter roles than the usual girl-next-door roles. The actor have been seen in many hit series like TVF Pitchers, TVF Tripling, and movies like No One Killed Jessica, Ujda Chaman and Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. However, out of the cue, with true conviction she thinks that the Amazon Original Four More Shots Please! has changed her career route for the better.
“Till ‘Four More Shots…!’ happened I was getting roles that were girl-next-door. So, in terms of presenting myself in a glamorous and fashionable way, this show is something I had never done before. Suddenly people started taking me seriously and it also helped me gain the currency of social media following, which is very important in today’s time and age,” the actor was quoted saying in an interview to PTI.
“The kind of offers I am getting now are interesting… Thankfully, I am in a place where I can pick and choose. I would consider this as a privilege because a lot of actors don’t have that. I myself didn’t have it till a few years ago. I wish this good fortune continues, said the actor.”
Four More Shots Please! is bankrolled by Pritish Nandy Communications and helmed by the duo of Rangita Pritish Nandy and Ishita Pritish Nandy. The main idea of the series is to celebrate womanhood, be unapologetically you and prioritize friendship and love.
Gagroo is starred alongside Kirti Kulhari, Sayani Gupta and Bani J. The latest season is conceptualized and directed by Joyeeta Patpatia. The actor said, “Season three has been a transformative experience.”
In line with the release of this web series, the most waited Tripling Season 3 has been out and the actor is hyped about the audience response. “I am excited that people will get to see me in two different characters as the world of both the shows are different. I hope the audience loves them equally,” she concluded.
