    The highest-paid government official is Ram Nath Kovind. earning ₹5 lakh per month. This salary was outlined by the ‘President’s Achievement and Pension Act, 1951,’ It also comes with additional perks like access to a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with IAF pilots, special security, transportation, medical benefits, and accommodation at the prestigious Rashtrapati Bhavan. This is all covered by the government.

    M. Venkaiah Naidu, the Vice-President of India, incurs ₹4 lakh per month. Also, he has the facility of government-covered amenities such as housing, transportation, and medical treatment. Also, the ex officio chairperson of the Rajya Sabha steps into the role of the President in certain events, such as death, resignation, etc.

The Chief Minister of Maharashtra Udhav Thackeray, receives ₹3.4 lakh monthly. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, holds the title of the highest-paid Chief Minister in India with a monthly salary of ₹4.10 lakh.

    State Governors, working closely with Chief Ministers, receive a monthly salary of ₹3.5 lakh, accompanied by various benefits. On the other hand, the salary of Members of the Parliament is determined under, the Allowances and Pension of Members of Parliament Act, 1954. Every member of the parliament gets ₹ 1 lakh per month, along with other facilities.
