Pulwama terror attack on February 14 will be considered as the black day in Indian history. We lost more than 45 CRPF Jawans in the attack attempted by a Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist, Aadil Ahmad Dar. He rammed his SUV packed up with a ton of explosive into the convoy of CRPF. Indian government along with many celebrities have come forward to support the families of Pulwama martyrs financially. Now these, 5 Indian cricketers also announced that they will provide a financial aid to these families who lost their men.
Sachin Tendulkar
The ace Indian cricketer who is also known as the ‘God of Cricket’, Sachin is affected by this attack deep down. He announced to donate Rs 50 lakh to the families of injured Jawans.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni
The former Indian captain, wicketkeeper and batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni is filled with anguish due to this attack. He announced to donate Rs 60 lakh to the families of martyrs.
Virat Kohli
The current Indian captain is no behind in helping the affected families. Virat condemned the terror attack and announced to donate Rs 30 lakh.
Virender Sehwag
The former bombastic batsman Virender Sehwag strongly condemned the attack. He announced that he will provide free education to the children of martyrs in his school.
Gautam Gambhir
The famous Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir also announced that he will financially support the lifetime education of the children of all the martyrs.
