According to the reports, she had an affair with South actor Darshan, who was already a married man. The news of their affair spread like a wildfire in the industry. Darshan’s wife Vijaylakshmi accused Nikita of breaking her home. She also said that Darshan gets physical abuisve with her only because of Nikita. She put various big acccusations on Nikita.
Following these accusations, the Kannada Film Producers Association imposed 3 years ban on Nikita. She was not allowed to sign any film within the time span of 3 years. However, film fraternity and fans supported Nikita and helped in removing the ban on her within 4 days.
