There are some actors who made their names in a very short span of time. They became the fans’ favourite and their fans follow them and stay keen to know about their personal lives. One of the stars is Bollywood iconic villain and South Indian actor Prakash Raj. He debuted in Bollywood with film Wanted and went on to be a hit actor.
He usually plays an antagonist. His roles are as powerful as the main hero of the film. Apart from an actor, Prakash is also a director and a producer. In the year 2010, he got married to the choreographer Pony Verma. Both of them share an age gap of 12 years. At the age of 50, he became the father of a son. But he was not his first but the fourth child.
Earlier he lost his son Sidhu he had from his first marriage to Lalitha Kumari. He was just five when, while flying a kite from a one-foot-high table, he fell on the ground. For a few months after that, he would have fits, after which he died.
Prakash Raj on his son Sidhu’s death says, “Nobody could understand what was the reason. His death was more than any other sorrow for me. I don’t take life for granted anymore and live in the moment.” Prakash is also a father of two daughters from his previous marriage. Lalitha and Prakash are divorced now.
Prakash’s mother was a nurse. He used to participate in dramas and acting shows during school and college and hence realized he will become an actor. After struggling a lot he got an offer in the film Duet. He was then noticed by Mani Ratnam and was cast by him. After that, there was no looking back.
