Have you ever imagined getting banned for being too sexy or too bold? we are talking about the Denny Kwan. Yes, Denny was banned from making new movies for 1 year in 2017 and she won’t be doing any films from that time.
Actually the only reason was that she is too attractive, says the boss of her country.
Denny acted in many movies and she has had to complete a ‘re-education’ session with the Culture and Fine Arts Ministry. This was decided after they blamed her for violating a code of conduct With 300,000 Facebook followers round the world. Denny says, ‘In Cambodia, there are many sexy artists. ‘I know it’s my right to decorate how I would like, but our culture, Cambodian people, cannot accept it,’ she told the Phnom Penh Post. ‘I will now try to not be sexy as I usually am once I post on Facebook.’
In her interview with Combodia Daily she said, when I was first called before culture ministry officials they ‘educated me sort of a daughter’, but I had reserved the proper to stay dressing as I wished.
The actress made many written promises to the ministry which she failed to fulfill. Therefore, she got banned. But who know’s the true story, right?
