Renee Dhyani has been a controversial contestant on Roadies in its season 8. She also appeared as a contestant in Bigg Boss in its season 8. She is in news now as revealed about battling depression and facial paralysis.
She said that,
“Initially, I couldn’t understand what was happening to me. I would suddenly break into tears, throw things around and yell. I was not mentally healthy, and was also harming myself.”
Renee became a household name with TV shows such as ‘Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki’, ‘Yeh Teri Galiyan’ to name a few. She said that she battling from depression for a year now. But she’s thankful to her family who is supporting her in difficult times.
About her paralysis, Renee said the left side of her face was affected and she lost confidence. It is because, in a TV or film industry, the face of an actor is the tool of expression. Renee said, “I would cover my left profile with my hair and stopped attending events. I also started avoiding scenes where I had to shout. I was constantly doing rounds of hospitals and was even admitted several times.”
Renee was in a relationship with actor Lalit Bisht. She said it was a bad relationship. Their thinking was different so they parted their ways. Renee even said that it was one of the reasons she’s in depression.
