Chitetsu Watanabe holds the title of the oldest living male person in the world. He was born on March 5 in 1907. Chitetsu belongs from Japan and recently, Guinness Book Of World Records recognized him as the oldest person living (male) at 112 Years 344 days as of 12 February 2020.
Chitetsu currently resides in a nursing home in Niigata, Japan where he has been awarded an official certificate on 12 February 2020. Chitetsu is the father of eight children. He used to work in the sugarcane field. Family members say that he never gets angry nor talk loudly. We can see him always smiling.
Chitetsu says that after graduation from agriculture he moved to Taiwan and worked in a sugarcane plantation. He stayed here for 18 years with children and wives. After this, Chitetsu served in the army in World War II. He then returned to Niigata and worked in the government office until his retirement. During this time they used to grow vegetables and fruits in their form.
