This is an extraordinary incident happened to Aakash Aayush Sahu that will make you expect the unexpected. Aakash is a Mechanical Engineer belongs to Durg, Chhattisgarh. He completed his Engineering in Mechanical, from SSEC, Bhilai in 2016.
Being an Engineer, Aakash didn’t have any background in Finance. but he now works as an investment banker. He did 6 weeks Investment banking course from through their dedicated placement cell. You will get surprised to know he came to know about this course while surfing through his Quora feed, where he read a review by an Investment banker, who had already done this certification course.
He now works as an investment banker at Pure Research Pvt. Ltd (A business Intelligence and a Financial research company). He said after completing his engineering, he decided to pursue M.Tech but dropped the plan later. He also applied for some government bank exams like IBPS PO (Bank Entrance exam), SEBI. And while preparing for them he realized that his field of interest is finance.
He started surfing the internet to learn about finance and landed up on quora and started reading answers about core profiles in finance. One of the answers took him to the Wall Street school’s website. After searching a bit about this he tried to get connected with Himanshu Jain (owner of The Wall Street school), which Aakash refers as the turning point of his life.
He started pursuing 6 weeks course and from their placement cell got 3 interview calls. Eventually got selected into Pure Research Pvt Ltd. He works on the designation of the Business analyst in the company.
