In a few days, Marvel’s latest film, Thor: Love and Thunder, will finally be released. In it, Chris Hemsworth takes on Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher as Thor. In the clip below, the two fight.
In the film, Thor wants to slow down and seek inner peace, but his retirement is suddenly interrupted by a galactic assassin, Gorr the God Butcher, who, as his name implies, is out to wipe out all gods. However, Thor wants to put a stop to this.
Taika Waititi, the blockbuster’s director, previously revealed that Gorr is one of the most powerful MCU villains of all time. Thor has his hands full with the villain but does get help from the Guardians of the Galaxy ( Chris Pratt and co.) and his ex, Jane Foster/The Mighty Thor ( Natalie Portman ).
In the clip below, however, he is on his own, which is of course not surprising. There will in fact be the necessary scenes in the film when the superhero takes on the villain and we see that in the clip below.
