In Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Baaghi 3’, the makers have done some experiments to keep the action dose more than three times. Shraddha said that in the film, action sequences have been filmed with about 400 bomb blasts. Tiger has done all his action sequences himself. A body double is not used. Sequences of the bomb blasts look real, instead of VFX, real bomb blasts have been done. Makers have used an estimated 100 kg of the explosion in the action sequence. However, safety was taken care of during use.
We did live-action in Baaghi 3
Shraddha Kapoor says- “Total 400 blasts have taken place in our entire film. All the action has been filmed live. Tiger has performed in minus temperature. It was a truly spectacular experience for me as a co-actor. Ahmed and The action team has got us doing live action so that everything looks real. Running tanks, explosions, arms and sweeps with bullets. Tiger is running in the middle. I am running. Someone is deceiving. The rest are jumping. There are a lot of special effects. There are tricks, but they have not been used. “
Tiger says- ‘We had very little shooting time, so we did live-action. We used to shoot and edit on the set and send the scene to India. Because we have to release the film in March this year whereas we were shooting till November December. So we did not have time to use VFX separately. We did not have so much Liberty. So we decided that if it’s a Tank, Chopper or Weapons, we will do the action live. All our action sequences have been good shots.
Release on 6 March: ‘Baghi 3’ is scheduled to release on 6 March. Apart from Tiger, Shraddha, and Riteish, the film stars Ankita Lokhande, Danish Bhat, Vijay Verma, Jaideep Ahlawat and Jamil Khauri. The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
