Trial Period, the next movie starring Genelia Deshmukh and Manav Kaul, debuted its trailer on Friday, providing a glimpse inside an unusual family structure. The plot centres on a little child’s sincere request for a temporary father figure for a few days. Manav plays the man hired as a parent for 30 days, while Genelia plays a single mother named Ana in the movie.
Aleya Sen, Shakti Kapoor, Sheeba Chadda, Gajraj Rao, and Zidane Braz all have significant parts in the movie. The narrative depicts the emotional rollercoaster, mismatched setting, and search for a father figure by a young youngster.
In an interview to the media, Genelia spoke about her film and averred in a statement, “I’m at the stage in my career where I choose a film which is about quality more than just quantity. Trial Period when offered to me by director Aleya Sen and Chrome was about a mother and the various relationships a woman goes through at that phase, it’s about a single woman mother finding her love story which is different from college love stories, and this is exactly what excited me to do the role. I’m excited for the film’s premiere on Jio Cinema which has a larger audience and the audience that is appropriate for the film. The Trial Period family has made this film with so much love and we hope our sincere efforts resonate with the audience.”
Manav commends the story’s sensitive telling and assures the audience that each character will provide the spectator a unique perspective.
He mentioned, “Trial Period is all things special! So heartfelt in its treatment, the film is an emotional rollercoaster.
