Well, looking at the photo anyone will get a bit confused because the picture you are looking at is not Amitabh but his lookalike. Honestly, after looking at the picture everyone got surprised and wondered if this picture is from Big B’s upcoming project.
The truth behind the photo
The photo that has gone viral was captured by legendary and renowned photographer Steve McCurry in 2017. Back in 2018, this photo created a stir on the internet. It was when the picture was posted ahead of the release of Thugs of Hindostan. And during that time it grabbed eyeballs. Yet again taking to his Instagram handle Steve McCurry reshared a portrait of an Afghan refugee on World Refugee Day which has again gone viral. The old man in the picture is an Afghan refugee living in Pakistan, who was 68 at that time.
