    Turkey earthquake: Teen trapped under the debris for 94 hours; consumed his urine to survive under the condition

    A teenager was saved from under the rubble amidst the earthquake mishap in Turkey and Syria. He mentioned that he was compelled to consume his urine to survive under the condition, reported ABC news.

    Adnan Muhammet Korkut (17) was trapped under the debris for over 94 hours. In a statement made from a hospital in Gaziantep he mentioned FaceTime “got into the fetal position.”

    “I set the alarm on my phone for every 25 minutes so I wouldn’t go to sleep. After two days, the battery went dead”, Korkut added.

    As the rescue operation was going on, Korkut said, “I was hearing voices, but was worried they couldn’t hear me. I was afraid that I might get crushed during the rescue efforts. Thank you to the people who came and saved me”, the report added.

    On Thursday, a toddler who was trapped under the debris of a toppled building was rescued after 79 hours in Turkey’s southern city of Antakya. A clip shared by Turkey’s Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) featured the turmoil yet successful effort to rescue the the two-year-old.

    The earthquakes wrecked property and claimed over 24,000 lives and resulted in 80,000 injured in Turkey and Syria.

    The first high-scale earthquake hit central Turkey and northwest Syria on Monday. On the very day, Turkey faced two more shake of 7.6 and 6.0 magnitudes. On Tuesday, successive earthquakes shook the country with a powerful magnitude of 5.5 and 5.4.
