There is no denying the fact that this world is full of masterpieces and go-as-you-please styles of architecture. There are many amazing artifacts, including bizarre restaurants, unique temples, and quirky museums scattered around the world. Many architects have created a huge amount of structures and buildings that not only amaze visitors but also go on the far side of understanding. These fabulous buildings inspire awe with their shapes, designs, and unique form. We’ve annulated up some of the most incredible constructions in the world that you might want to visit.

    Temple of Independence, USA

    Unusual Structures And Strange Buildings

The Temple of Independence is a place of worship and education. This is one of the most unusual structures in the world. The temple is the main office of the Community of Christ. The architecture of the temple resembles a spiral shell with a stainless steel spire rising 91 meters. It currently features contemporary and traditional religious art from around the world.

    Ren Building, China

    Unusual Structures And Strange Buildings

Ren Building is a public and commercial enterprise center in Shanghai. The Chinese character REN means “man”. The Copenhagen-based Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) submitted this human-centric design to the Shanghai World Expo 2010 “Better City, Better Life”. The project was proposed for a hotel, sports, and conference center. The design consists of two buildings merging into one. The first building emerging from the water symbolizes the strength of the body and houses the cultural and sports centers. Another building emerging from the earth is dedicated to spirit and enlightenment and houses conference rooms and office centers. Upstairs, at the confluence of the two buildings, is a hotel with 1000 rooms.

Sheikh Zayed National Museum, United Arab Emirates

    Unusual Structures And Strange Buildings

Located on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE, this is the first museum on the island that combines traditional Arabic design elements in architecture that reflects the local culture while taking into account the Sheikh’s love for nature and his concern for the environment. The building consists of five solar-thermal towers surrounded by landscaped parks. Five large pavilions (wings – towers) reach a maximum height of 124 m (the lowest is 73 m) and are shaped like feathers that make up a bird’s wing to reflect the late sheikh’s love for falconry. The wings are supported by a steel frame, which in turn is mounted on reinforced concrete columns.

    Basket House, USA

Built in the shape of a giant handbasket, this beautiful structure is a treat for those who want to admire the unique things of the world. Located in Ohio, USA, it is one of the strangest structures in the world and houses the headquarters of the Longaberger Basket Company. The unique building is an exact imitation of an ordinary shopping cart. Thanks to its exceptional shape, it has become one of the main tourist attractions in the city. This unique building even has two handles attached, thanks to a design that has retained every detail.

    Office building Cybertecture Egg, India

    Unusual Structures And Strange Buildings

Combining natural form with innovative technology, this exclusive egg-shaped office building is an architectural marvel for visitors. The building was designed by a firm based in Hong Kong. The structure boasts iconic architecture complemented by sustainable patterns, superior control systems, and evolutionary engineering.

    Earth House, Switzerland

Resembling real hobbit burrows, the Earth House is an architectural marvel stylized to look like natural landscapes. The project of designer Peter Vetsch is a progressive building made of ecological materials. The houses are really built in the slopes of the hills and practically do not stand out against the background of the surrounding nature. For additional insulation, the houses are sprinkled with earth. People have been living in this residence for many years. This is one of the most unusual houses in the world.

    Bubble Palace, France

Also known as the Palais Bulles, the Bubble House is a huge residence in Theoule-Sur-Mer, near Cannes, France. The building was designed by the Hungarian architect Antti Lovag and its construction period was from 1975 to 1989. The palace was actually built for a French industrialist, but later a fashion designer named Pierre Cardin bought it as his holiday home. The 1,200 square meter house includes a front end, a panoramic living room, a 500-seat outdoor amphitheater, 10 bedrooms, multiple pools, and waterfalls. The bubble house is also considered one of the most expensive houses in the world.

    Casa Batllo, Spain

Located in the heart of Barcelona, Casa Batllo is one of Antoni Gaudí’s masterpieces. Once near such a building, you are immediately transported to the beginning of the 20th century, getting acquainted with the characteristic elements of the Art Nouveau style. Gaudi skillfully played the play of light and shadow and created a unique magical world that any visitor would be curious to enter. The current building is a reconstruction of an earlier house that was rebuilt by Gaudí in 1904.
