Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt were recently spotted together at an event for the forthcoming award show. The actors are expected to perform at the Zee Cine Awards this year. Alia is all set to back on stage for the first time after she gave birth to Raha Kapoor in November 2022. Varun also posted that he will be soon collaborating with Alia for a project.
Alia admitted that she felt quite jittery which going back to the stage for the performance. “I’m quite nervous since it has been a while since I’ve performed on stage. I’ve not had that stage show performance adrenaline in a very long time,” she said.
A fan on Twitter wrote, “HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO STAY CALM AFTER THIS #VarunDhawan #AliaBhatt #varia,” tweeted another, “I hate the fact that I have to go for work and I can’t enjoy these Varia moments rn. But my heart can’t stop screaming. It was a longggggg due. Will come back and sob while catching up with everything.”
When asked about working with Alia on the big screen, Varun added on a lighter note, “I’m very busy, I just had a baby.” He further said, “Honestly, I think working with Alia is like that one time when I’m always on my toes. She always keeps me on my A-game. Any discussions which happen about creatively coming together, it always has to be the best. It has to be something that she and I love and we feel we don’t disappoint the audience. It’s an active discussion. The only reason it’s taking so much time is because we are also looking out for something best suited for us.”
