Varun said that even after doing movies like October and Badlapur, which won him critical praise, he still feels more comfortable doing massy entertainers and Every time he strolls into a set to portray a character that is very different from what he has portrayed before, it gives him jitters and also scares him, which is great as it frequently brings out the best. “Even if you are doing a massy entertainer, you need to figure out newer ways of entertaining the audience.
