Actress Deepika Padukone is one of the highest paid and popular actresses of the Bollywood. During the recently organized Zee Cine Awards, the actress won Best Actress Award for her film Padmaavat. Whereas, her husband Ranveer Singh won Best Actor award for the same film in the Viewers Choice category.
The award show witnessed something very special on-stage when the actress and her husband Ranveer Singh reached to take their awards. The hosts rising stars Vicky Kaushal and Kartik Aryan asked Deepika and her husband Ranveer Singh to recreate their wedding and even take the seven ‘pheras’ at the event.
This is not it, later both of them, Vicky and Kartik even photoshopped themselves into Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding pictures. Vicky even soon started calling Deepika Padukone his Bhabhi. And it seemed that it somewhere annoyed Deepika as she told Vicky not to call her that but Vicky didn’t stop and continued calling her Bhabhi to tease her more. This left the audience laughing at their funny banter.
On the professional front, Deepika has stepped in the producing venture with her film Chhapaak which is a biopic of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The film is directed by Meghna Guulzar. Actor Vikrant Massey is also starring in the film.
