Amid the lockdown, the makers of Vidya Balan’s film ‘Shakuntala Devi‘ have also prepared for its digital premiere. The film will soon be released on the OTT platform ‘Amazon Prime‘. Vidya and other people associated with the film gave information about this on social media. However, the film’s release date has not been announced yet.

Who was Shakuntala Devi?
Shakuntala Devi was known as a Maths Genius. Her name was recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records in 1982 due to her tremendous grip on mathematics. She has also written several books including Novel, Books based on Maths, Puzzle, and Astrology. Her book ‘The World of Homosexuals’ is taken as the first study based on homosexuality in India.
Also known as the human computer
In 1977, Shakuntala was confronted with a computer ‘Univac‘ at Dallas University. Shakuntala was to calculate and extract the 23rd root of a 201-digit number. It took her 50 seconds to solve it. Univac took 62 seconds for this. After this, Shakuntala came to be known as ‘Human Computer’ worldwide.
