Deepika Padukone was previously questioned by filmmaker Karan Johar about the people she had become close with in the business. Anushka Sharma’s name was taken by Deepika, who had visited Karan on his chat programme Koffee With Karan with Priyanka Chopra, leaving him in shock. The old episode snippet from the programme has made a comeback online, and the fans don’t seem happy about it.
Back in 2013, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra appeared on an episode of Karan Johar’s show. Deepika says to Karan in the course of the conversation, “It’s a perception that actors can’t get along.” Responding to her, Karan avers, “Really who else have you got along with
?”
Karan mocks, “You are friendly with Anushka, sorry I really choked on that. Sorry you are friendly with who?” “Okay in my head I am…I know…” avers Deepika. Interrupting her, Karan avers, “If you think you are Anushka Sharma’s friend, you are definitely living in a bubble.”
On the show, he leaves Deepika speechless. Deepika was questioned on the show if she felt bad about being labelled a “non-performer” for her prior work, but she flatly refused. Priyanka’s tattoo reading “daddy’s little girl” is something Karan brings up to her. He questions Deepika about her “RK” tattoo using it as a point of reference. She wore it around her neck while she dated Ranbir Kapoor. “It’s there Karan,” she laughs. “Can I slap him please?” Deepika asked Priyanka who responded, “Somebody must!”
