Katrina Kaif, the gorgeous actress of the Bollywood has a mysterious story too! And no it’s not about her affairs or relationships but about her family. Family, where life begins! We all know Katrina has not one or two but seven siblings: three elder sisters (Stephanie, Christine, and Natasha), three younger sisters (Melissa, Sonia, and Isabel) and an elder brother, Michael.
Katrina’s original name is Katrina Turquotte. She was born in Hong Kong to an English mother Suzanne who is an English lawyer and charity worker and a Kashmiri Indian father Mohammad Kaif who is a businessman. We often see her photos with her sisters and mother but her father is always missing from them. Ever wonder why?
Well, this beauty too had a story to tell. Katrina Kaif’s childhood was not a normal one. She and her siblings were raised by a single mother. Why? Because her parents divorced when she was a child, and her father moved to the United States since then she hardly met her father. Once in an interview, Katrina said that:
“My dad, unfortunately, and not out of choice, has had no influence on our upbringing, on our religious or social or moral bearings. When I see friends who have wonderful fathers who are like pillars of support for their families, I say, if only I had that. But instead of complaining, I should be grateful for all the other things I have”.
She is not in contact with her father. She doesn’t know where is he? She is happy with what life has offered her. And why not? After all, she has a big fat family of 8 to celebrate life!
