A new member Shreya Lenka is added to the highly popular K-pop group ‘Blackswan’. Read to know more details about the girl who just made the headlines.
Who is Shreya Lenka?
This 18-year-old girl Shreya Lenka is the daughter of Abinash Lenka and Priya Lenka, who hails from Odisha’s Rourkela. This girl is an Odissi classical dancer, and besides this, she is also a freestyle, hip-hop, and contemporary dancer. Shreya with her talent has so far participated in several regional and national dance competitions and also won numerous awards and appreciation.
Apart from Lenka, Brazilian girl Gabriela Dalcin(Gabi) is also a new member of the group. Both these talented young ladies were selected from the audition carried out via YouTube. After they got selected the management company of the group shared a post with the caption that read, ”Sriya and Gabi were finally selected as members of Blackswan after participating in the global audition program for the last 6 months. With their debut, we will be back with the new Blackswan.”
Sriya’s entry into K-pop
Shreya was quite keen on the choreography in the music videos. She got hooked on its “unique style” of singing and dancing. With her hard work and zeal, she finally managed to become a trained dancer. The young lady was quite impressed with Stray Kids and The Boyz. And also she loved BTS songs. So when she saw K-pop record labels open online auditions she decided to give it a shot. Sriya and Gabi will now meet their bandmates Youngheun, Fatou, Judy, and Leia.
