Sometimes strange things also trend on social media without any reason. Now, a Twitter user has signed an online petition asking Amitabh Bachchan and Anand Mahindra to delete WhatsApp from their mobile phones.
He writes in the petition:
‘A megastar and famous industrialist are falling prey to fake news and weird content through WhatsApp. The dignity of both these dignitaries has to be maintained. Through this petition we appeal to Mark Zuckerberg to disable WhatsApp on their numbers. ‘
Amitabh Bachchan Once Trolled On Fake News
Around 2 times Amitabh Bachchan was a victim of fake news. He had tweeted that how Corona virus would be eliminated by playing utensils or applause in the public curfew. After this, Amitabh was heavily trolled on social media. Later this tweet was deleted by Amitabh Bachchan. He also had another strange tweet stating that corona on humans can live for several weeks on feces and urine and it can be spread by flies. Later, the health ministry also rejected Amitabh’s claim.
By the time this news is written, more than a thousand people have signed this online petition and this number is constantly increasing. However, till now Amitabh Bachchan has not given any reaction on this online petition on social media.
