But it wasn’t always like this in her youth she was an unsuccessful model. If we say that the world-renowned film star Cameron Diaz smuggled drugs before her film career nobody would believe that. But In one of her jobs, Cameron unknowingly took on another role, as she became a drug mule.
Speaking on the Second Life podcast, Cameron explained that at one point in the past she saved enough money to move to Paris and work as a model. However, she had no luck finding a job. Diaz revealed, “I was there for a whole year and didn’t work a single day. I couldn’t find a job with the best will in the world,” “Then I had a job, but I think It was a drug courier. Means transporting drugs to Morocco,” Cameron admitted later on They gave her a locked suitcase that supposedly contained her costumes.
It was only when she arrived at the airport that she realized she was carrying illegal substances. Cameron then left the suitcase with the officials before returning to France in order to avoid a prison sentence of at least ten years. She stated that it was not her luggage and that she did not know to who it belonged. The actress said “It was the only job I ever got in Paris,”
