In the Marvel Comics and DC Comics comics, the heroes and villains are actually never really dead. They can return in all kinds of ways, especially because of the existence of the Multiverse. But the character Yondu from the Marvel Cinematic Universe will most likely never return.
In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 , the character of actor Michael Rooker ( The Walking Dead ) died and that was a pretty emotional moment in the film series. Fans don’t have to hope for his return.
No Yondu in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Director James Gunn has reiterated that Yondu will definitely not be returning in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 . “As I said before, Yondu is dead and will remain dead as long as I’m involved with the Guardians. His death means something to people and I’m not going to change that,” said the director.
