Bollywood actress Zarine Khan showed her disappointment with Lilavati Hospital by sharing a video. In the 7-minute long clip, the actress explained what happened to her grandfather after she took him to the hospital. The actress narrated the whole incident that exactly happened after her Nana’s health deteriorated. And they rushed him to the hospital.
In the video, Zareen said: ‘Nana’s health suddenly worsened at night, so I, along with Mamu and sister took him to Lilavati Hospital. After we reached he was asked to go for screening in the basement where the COVID test was conducted before going to the emergency ward. But I refused to do so, as my Nana was old and had a high risk of getting infection after coming in contact with COVID patients.
The Veer actress further stated that her nana’s temperature and oxygen level everything turned out well. But in spite of this, an attendant said that the COVID test was necessary and we will work under the protocol, and apart from this we cannot do anything. And this made me disappointed as he was quite serious.
Slamming the hospital authorities she later said that it is the time we should not go to hospitals as they have turned this situation into a business. Although they are called COVID warriors Lilavati Hospital did not help at all. The actress expressed her displeasure and said that they came back from there and got Nana treated in another hospital in the morning.
