Craig Ervine- led Zimbabwe crushed Bangladesh by 10 runs in the 3rd and final T20I on Tuesday to win the series 2-1. At one stage, Zimbabwe were battling at 67/6 in the thirteenth over while batting first, however, Ryan Burl scored a quickfire 54 runs off only 28 balls to assist Zimbabwe with posting 156/8 in 20 overs. Victor Nyauchi then got back with 3 wickets as Zimbabwe registered a 10 run victory to seal the series 2-1.

It was in the fifteenth over of Zimbabwe’s batting innings that the momentum was brought towards the hosts. Ryan Burl scored 34 runs in the over bowled by Nasum Ahmed, including five 6 and one 4.

On the first four balls of the over, Burl hit sixes, and afterward, on the 5th ball, he hit a four. Then, at that point, on the last ball of the over, he hit a maximum, taking 34 runs off the over.

Chasing 156, Bangladesh required at least one batter to remain at the crease for a long haul, yet this didn’t prove to be the case. For the visitors, Afif Hossain top-scored with an unbeaten knock of 39.

Both the teams will now contest a three-match ODI series, starting August 5 at Harare.
