The trailer for Gadar 2, the eagerly anticipated follow-up to Anil Sharma’s massively successful international action romance from 2001, was released on Wednesday.In the follow-up, which also stars Utkarsh Sharma, Anil’s son, Sunny Deol, and Ameesha Patel reprise their iconic roles.
A Pakistani army officer is shown in the trailer torturing Jeete, the son of Tara and Sakina (Utkarsh). Sakina is told by Tara that he will have Jeete back, assuring him in his agony. He travels to Lahore and uses a sledgehammer to assault Pakistani army personnel. We can infer what will happen next from Tara’s expression as the trailer finishes with her gazing at a handpump.
Kargil Vijay Divas marked the premiere of the Gadar 2 trailer. Sunny Deol, Simrat Kaur, Mithoon, Alka Yagnik, Jubin Nautiyal, Aditya Narayan, Anil Sharma, Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma, Shariq Patel, Mithoon, and Sunny Deol were among the celebrities present at the event to promote the teaser.

Director Anil Sharma averred, “We are excited about bringing back a story that epitomizes patriotism, intense action, a heartwarming father-son bond, and a love story that transcends all boundaries.”
Gadar 2 is launched under the banner Anil Sharma and Zee Studios. The film hit thetaers on August 11.
Gadar was re-released last month ahead of the sequel’s debut. Sunny mentioned earlier that she was eager to hear the second section. “Gadar – Ek Prem Katha has been an eminent part of my life, personally as well as professionally. Tara Singh from Gadar isn’t just a protagonist but went on to become a cult icon that defied all odds and crossed all boundaries for his Family and Love. Collaborating with the team after, 22 years was a creatively enriching experience.”
