Bollywood’s ace actor Irrfan Khan who took the internet a year ago to reveal he is suffering from Neuroendocrine Tumour and shocked his fans spotted at Mumbai airport recently.
What is Neuroendocrine Tumour?
A neuroendocrine tumour or brain cancer in simple words is a condition in which an abnormal tissue growth arises in the hormone-producing nervous cells (or neuroendocrine cells) of the body. After development, the tumour may spread to other body parts.
52 years old Irrfan Khan last year in March revealed to his fans that he is diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour. He flew to London for the cancer treatment and till now have gone through 6 chemotherapy sessions nearly.
