On February 24, 2018, actress Sridevi put the nation in shock when the news of her death started doing the rounds. She died in Dubai under mysterious circumstances. The cause of death later revealed by the police was an accidental drowning in a bathtub. Sridevi was the first female superstar of Indian cinema.
According to the latest reports, recently, Boney Kapoor has fulfilled the last wish of Sridevi. According to reports, while shooting for the 2012 film “English Vinglish”, Sridevi expressed her wish to see Indian actor Ajith Kumar in a movie by husband Boney Kapoor.
In order to fulfil it, Boney Kapoor decided to make a film Nerkonda Paarvai and to cast Ajith in it. This film will be the remake of Amitabh Bachchan- Taapsee Pannu starrer Pink. Boney took to his Twitter and wrote,” I am truly blessed 9 am IST today Premiere Show of @nerkondapaarvai will start in Singapore. I have managed to fulfil my wife Sridevi Kapoor’s dream It couldn’t have been possible without the support of #AjithKumar #HVinoth, entire cast & technicians. I shall always cherish this.”
Directed by H. Vinoth, the film titled Nerkonda Paarvai also stars Vidya Balan, Mahat Raghavendra, Shraddha Srinath, Andrea Tariang and Abhirami Venkatachalam among others. The film scheduled to release on 8th August in India.
